Welcome to CozyTyping!

Dive into a charming world where your typing skills bring objects to life! Guess the names of objects in each scene and type them out. Watch as the objects come to life with colors and animations with every correct guess!

Feeling stuck? Click on any greyed-out item to reveal scrambled letters of one of the words that describe the object. (Please let us know if you think we missed any other synonyms or spellings too!)

We're aiming for a chill, relaxing kind of vibe. At the moment, this release is a proof of concept / prototype, and we'd love to know if you have any feedback or ideas of other things to add or expand upon. Thanks for playing!

Oh, it was a lovely piece with a very soothing atmosphere.
I'm not a good English cat, but I managed to complete it by streaming and working with others, meow~!
It was nice and pleasant to see some objects move at the same time as they were colored!

"Trash basket" but "trash can" works on the not trash can? (A trash can wouldn't have a lattice design.)

Also, you can't be more specific and type "chocolate chip cookies" for "cookies".

"Photos" should work for "pictures".

Thanks for trying it out and suggesting more synonyms, that's very helpful! Hope you had some fun with it!

This was fun! It has a very playful and visceral feel to it.

“dresser” or “chest of drawers” or “bureau” should work for the furniture next to the bed: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chest_of_drawers

“donuts” or “tower” should work for the “toy”.

“pennants” should work for the “flags”.

“diary” should work for the “journal”.

Thank you for the kind words and thank you for trying it out! And we really appreciate you providing some extra synonyms too! I'll make sure we get these added we update the game next.

Cute, and very well made game. The  objects that give a slight bounce when you are typing the correct word, or how the letters would be green if correct when you are unsure what you are going for (in my case, mannequin).

As another pointed out, I typed the letter O, not realizing it was for options, but was struggling to think of an object that started with O, but after a minute to figure that out, all was well.  Great job making this.

Super cute!

This game is very cute and reminded me of some typing simulators back then, and it's a good way to teach typing without the added stress of a timer :) Also I managed to finish both sets of objects though it took me some time to do so

I finished the first set of objects :-)

Feedback : I didn't manage to cancel the words I began to type, when I wanted to try an other word instead.

Also, it's nice to have to type "start" :-)

I had some hard time to understand that "option" was not an object ^^'

Thanks for giving it a try and giving us feedback!

What do you mean about canceling words?

Yeah, I was thinking maybe we could make menu/button interactions require a special key press first or something like "press tab to interact with menu buttons". Need something to make it less confusing for sure...

I mean that for instance I type p for "pot" but there is no pot. So the p is recorded but I can't think of another object beginning with a p. And I'm stuck with the p. (English is not my native language, so I am not sure of the name of the objects. Maybe I play like a kid.)

Ah now I understand! Yep, it can be tricky, especially since I'm sure we missed some important synonyms... But typing random letters can be a bit of a trick to find the missing items as well :)

We do plan to add more synonyms as we find them and possibly add support for some other languages in a future update.
